WHAT COMES BEFORE THE FALL

'What Comes Before the Fall' explores an unstable territory, a suspended moment where the body stands on the border of imbalance. Before the fall, there is hesitation, tension, restrained momentum. It is within this fragile space that this photographic series takes shape, conceived as a visual and narrative exploration of movement and gravity. A body struggles with its own center. Gestures seek each other, fragment, vacillate. Each posture already seems to contain the possibility of a fall, like a promise inscribed in the movement itself. Dance then becomes vertigo, a physical language in which balance is never fully attained. The urban setting, sober and almost abstract, acts as a silent partner. Walls, architectural lines, and mineral surfaces accentuate the sensation of constraint and tension, while the body attempts to inscribe its freedom within them. Gradually, dance asserts itself: it is no longer merely a fight against gravity, but a form of poetic resistance, a way of inhabiting uncertainty. 'What Comes Before the Fall' speaks to the instability of the body as a universal experience. The series questions that precise moment when one does not yet know whether one will fall or remain standing, a moment where doubt becomes movement, and where fragility turns into expressive force.
